About the Role:

We are looking for a Business Operations and HR Assistant to join our Operations department in Spain, focused primarily on the Cipherscale Line of business.

Important:

This is a permanent position for Spain that plays a key role in supporting both the HR and business operations functions of this new product line. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HR systems, onboarding/offboarding processes, and cross-functional operations within a fast-paced tech startup environment.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with BambooHR or similar HR software systems.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.

  • Understanding of HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, payroll) and Labour & Tax (primarily in Spain, Germany & Poland)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

  • Experience in a tech startup environment.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in administrative support for international teams.

  • Knowledge of employment law in Europe

  • Interest in HR technology and operations optimization.

  • Knowledge of how to apply Artificial Intelligence to improve HR & Operations Processes ( ChatGPT, Claude Code or similar)

Responsibilities:

  • Support HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.

  • Maintain and update HR systems (such as BambooHR) to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Assist with operational tasks related to day-to-day business functions.

  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth internal operations and workflow.

  • Help in organizing HR documentation, contracts, and employee communications.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives across HR and Operations.

  • Provide administrative support for the HR and Operations leadership team.

  • Deal with all Labour & Tax Suppliers across Europe, primarily in Spain, Germany & Poland
