Job description
The Controller will be responsible for handling many aspects of the financial operations. This is a hands-on role working remotely where the Controller will directly perform the work and report to the Director of Finance.
The Controller responsibilities include the accurate and timely preparation and analyses of all facets of the financial operations of the company, including financial statement preparation, cash management, budget preparation and analyses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and all other fiscally related duties.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, cash applications, collections, and payroll)
Responsible for timely and accurate financial month end close and balance sheet reconciliation
Responsible for quarterly budget reporting
Responsible for cash management, including performing wire payments to contractors and ACH payments
Coordinate and direct the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and projections
Assist CPAs in gathering documents for preparation of annual tax returns
Review UK and EU VAT taxes, corporate taxes, and ensure timely payments
Review and maintain annual business licenses
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, bank reports, and various detailed analysis reports, including MISC-1099 and other managerial reports as required..
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned
Job requirements
Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills
Strong analytical and reasoning abilities with superior numeric skills
Possess well-developed interpersonal and communication, verbal, and written skills
Focus on result and profit orientation with the ability to balance other business considerations and perform multifaceted projects
High level of motivation and the ability to function independently and multi-task
Excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, combined with 10+ years experience in Accounting/Finance; CMA or CPA strongly preferred

Compensation for this position will be tailored based on qualifications and experience. Candidates offered the position can expect a starting base salary between $120,000 and $150,000 per year. This position does not support visa sponsorship.
