OpenVPN Inc is seeking to hire a Security Architect who is a hands-on leader with profound knowledge of security technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for overseeing company's current Data, IT and Information Security, provides recommendations to strengthen internal and external information security environment
• Evaluates the security challenges, evolving threat and risk management, vulnerabilities assessment and establishing the right security and governance practices into the current and future state of company's business operations
• Collaborates with various cross-functional teams to implement new security measures as well as monitor existing security measures for potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Drafts technical and procedural information security policies and oversees their implementation company-wide
• Conducts/works with 3^rd parties to do pen test scanning and manages remediation plans
• Works with DevOps to harden OS and container security
• Works with Dev teams to maintain code security
• Owns and maintains company security incidence response plan

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of experience in the Information Security field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong experience with information security architecture and security technologies such as: Firewalls, Routers, VPN, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Encryption, Cryptography, PKI, Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware, Identity Management, etc.
• Experience with formulating company security policies and documentation
• Experience with handling third-party audits and security certification processes
• Experience with SIEM security logging and monitoring is a major plus
• Experience with container/microservice based environment security management is a major plus
• Experience with code security and maintainability tools such as SonarQube is a major plus
• Experience in driving security incidence response process
• CISSP or CISM or similar certifications a plus
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
