Overview of role

OpenVPN is building out a growth team and we’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager with experience in implementing and scaling strategies to create and capture demand for our products and grow revenue opportunities for the business.

As an early hire to a newly-invested in growth team, you’ll have an immediate, highly valued impact, with the chance to contribute to the development of growth marketing at-large at OpenVPN. Your role will be nothing short of instrumental in taking the company to the next level.

What does a solid candidate look like? One who has experience across a broad range of channels and will be able to tell us what to do, rather than waiting for us to tell you what to do as it relates to driving growth by improving new user acquisition and conversion.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee funnel optimization to identify and remove conversion bottlenecks.

  • Devise and execute marketing campaigns aligned with business goals and buyer needs across a variety of channels like paid search and social, review sites, webinars, email, web and SEO, all aimed at building user pipeline.

  • Leverage your knowledge of CRO and PPC strategies, along with proficiency in Wordpress (or similar), Hubspot, and other tools to drive growth

  • Partner closely with our top-of-funnel content marketing manager to distribute the right messaging, through the right channels, to the right audience, at the right time.

  • Deploy a marketing budget effectively, ensuring maximum impact and return on investment.

  • Work closely with various teams, including marketing, product, and sales to ensure alignment of growth initiatives with overall company goals.

  • Track, measure, and report on spend and business performance to enhance results and create repeatable successes and streamlined demand creation and capture.

Job requirements

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of Marketing and Growth experience, from a B2B SaaS company highly preferred

  • Prior experience using a marketing tech stack that consists of tools like: HubSpot, GA4, native campaign managers (LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, Reddit), HotJar, SEMrush, and others.

  • Track record of being a top performer among peers

  • Clear evidence of natural curiosity, creativity, and initiative

  • Strong knowledge of CRO, PPC, and SEO strategies

  • Ability to pivot quickly and adapt to changing priorities – your ability to wear multiple hats will be your biggest asset.

  • Compensation for this position will be tailored based on qualifications and experience. Candidates offered the position can expect a starting base salary between $80,000 and $125,000 per year.
