Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Multi-Cloud Networking Specialist with a strong background in infrastructure engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in configuring and managing cross-account, cross-cloud, and cross-region networking solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure. They should also be comfortable with Kubernetes networking, especially EKS, and demonstrate a solid understanding of networking best practices in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, document, implement, improve, and manage multi-cloud networking solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Configure cross-account, cross-region, and cross-cloud networking for seamless connectivity and data flow
- Ensure network security, redundancy, and reliability across multiple cloud platforms
- Work with VPCs, VPNs, Transit Gateways, and other cloud-native networking solutions
- Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes networking, particularly within EKS environments
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless network integration
- Implement and manage network configurations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Provide technical guidance and support to teams on best practices for cloud networking
- Participate in on-call rotation to respond to network incidents and ensure high availability
- Stay current with advancements in cloud networking technologies, tools, and best practices

  • Compensation for this position will be tailored based on qualifications and experience. Candidates offered the position can expect a starting base salary between $100,000 and $120,000 per year. This position does not support visa sponsorship.

Job requirements

- 5+ years of experience in cloud networking and infrastructure engineering
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing cross-cloud, cross-region, and cross-account networking solutions
- Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP networking; knowledge of Azure is a plus
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking, particularly EKS
- Proficiency with cloud networking technologies (VPC, VPN, peering, Transit Gateway, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet
- Knowledge of network security best practices, firewalls, and security groups
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud network environments
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure network performance and availability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpsGenie)

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications in AWS (AWS Certified Advanced Networking) and/or GCP (Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer)
- Experience with service mesh technologies and cloud-native security tools
- Strong design and documentation skills
