Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and GCP platforms, ensuring optimal performance, cost efficiency, and security
  • Implement and manage infrastructure on bare-metal servers
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and other tools to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources
  • Manage and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS) and other container orchestration tools
  • Implement and maintain cloud networking components in a multi-cloud approach
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling smooth deployment of applications and continuous improvement of processes.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources and services to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency
  • Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and best practices
  • Collaborate with diverse DevOps teams working in different timezones
  • Participate in infrastructure projects that involve cross-team collaboration
  • Participate in infrastructure migration/improvement initiatives
  • Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 support for critical services and infrastructure
  • Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance our infrastructure and stay up-to-date with industry trends

Job requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on AWS and GCP cloud platforms
  • Strong experience with Terraform and configuration management
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) for container orchestration and deployment
  • In-depth understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, transit gateways, and multi-cloud connectivity
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, and Bitbucket
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, BigQuery, and Opsgenie
  • Experience with configuration management tools, specifically Ansible and Puppet
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork
Is a plus: 
  • Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Experience with additional cloud services and tools, such as Azure, Digital Ocean, ELK, Kafka, etc.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python or Bash, for scripting and automation purposes
  • Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB
