Job requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Expert in Bash scripting

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, basic SQL knowledge)

  • Expert understanding of Networking principles, architecture, and protocols:

    • MTU

    • Tunnels

    • Network troubleshooting

    • Working with packet dumps (PCP dump, Wireshark)

    • Firewalls [specifically IP tables]

    • Netplans

  • Intimate knowledge of SSL, DNS administration, and managing PKI

  • Automation focused individual who should seek out to implement automation in all work

  • Have had experience managing physical servers

  • Must be an expert working with Puppet, experience working with Ansible

  • Required to be a part of an on-call rotation and incident response team
